VCD and the Kokoda trail.
VCD students are now training for a trip of a lifetime to Papua New Guinea and walk the total 96 km of the Kokoda Trail. Click here for more on this amazing adventure.
The Kokoda Track, now officially renamed the Kokoda Trail, was the site of bitter fighting between Australian and Japanese armies during the early days of World War II. The Kokoda Trail traverses Papua New Guinea over 96 kilometres of rugged mountainous rainforest. A trek on the Kokoda Trail is a challenging adventure through some of the most remote jungle in the world, and a group of our middle and senior students will be trekking through that very jungle.
