Deaf cafe now open.

Tradeblock cafe run by deaf students.

The tradeblock cafe is now open for VCD staff and students. A selection of fine coffees and hot chocolate as well as delicious cakes and slices are now available for purchase and is all made and served by our own senior years deaf students. A grant of $30,000 will see a kitchen installed so that luncheons will be provided for staff working on the grounds of 597 St Kilda Road later on in the year. It is envisaged that the local corporate community will also be able to dine here which gives excellent opportunities to our students. The Tradeblock cafe is now open from 10 am to 2 pm on Mondays and Tuesdays on school days.
