Senior Years - Developing pathways and beyond
In the Senior Years the Victorian Essential Learning Standards (VELS) are used at year 10 to prepare students for their participation in the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE), the Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) or Vocational Education and Training (VET).
Year ten students are encouraged to undertake a VCE or VET subject and all other students are enrolled in a combination of VCE, VET or VCAL. All students study a VET subject.
Programs are tailored to suit the individual needs of all students including those who have additional disabilities. All students have the opportunity to develop Auslan and speech skills.
An extensive work experience program helps to prepare students for their transition from school to work or further studies.
